CYNDY URRY is a full time multi-media artist living in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. She was taught to paint from age 6 from her father, a successful oil painter and commercial artist himself. Growing up, Cyndy always had a need to create. In college she turned her interest to ceramic arts, specializing in porcelain and special surface decorations. She has sold many pieces through galleries and private shows.

Living in Hawaii, Cyndy came back to oils, acrylics, and watercolor painting and has trained under some of the best. Her Landscapes and abstracts are stunning, but her commissioned pet portraits have earned her recognition for stunning likeness. They are in many homes in Hawaii and across the country.
Cyndy’s past time is scuba diving where she gets many ideas from the under water life she encounters , for her paintings and porcelain. Cyndy’s artwork can be seen currently in the Cliff Johns Gallery in Hawaii, the Orchid at Mauna Lani, and in the Lava Java restaurant.
