Donna Crow was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and spent a lot of her youth on Padre Island on the Gulf of Mexico. Her parents noticed a special gift in her creativity and with their nurturing she started private art lessons at age 7.
Donna later attended a private art school where she studied with numerous acclaimed artists and later worked as a commercial artist.

Donna moved to Hawaii in 1975 and found the sheer beauty of the Islands was a tremendous inspiration. Everything she saw or felt became a work of art.
Donna dedicated herself full time to painting in water color, oils, and mixed media. Her diversity is remarkable and her paintings can be seen in many collections Internationally and in Hawaii.
The “Spirit of Miloli’i” was a series of paintings Donna did in a caring endeavor to capture the last true Hawaiian Fishing Village. Donna now resides with her Husband Michael in South Kona on a bluff overlooking the village she painted.
